RAVIV DENTAL COURSE
Dr. Eli Raviv is a Prosthodontist, an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University, Director of Prosthodontics and Associate Director of the Department of Dentistry at the Jewish General Hospital (Montreal, Canada). He has been providing Implant, Esthetic and Reconstructive treatments for over 30 years. He is in fact one of the early pioneers to embrace Implant Dentistry. His wealth of knowledge and experience has made him one of the most sought after educators and leaders in the Implant Industry around the world. As an authority in dental Implants he is consulting various Implant companies and is responsible for multiple research projects.
As an educator at heart Dr. Eli Raviv has founded The Raviv Dental Courses Academy and along with Dr. Mili Raviv and Dr. Roy Raviv they provide Dental Implant, Esthetic and Reconstructive teaching to dentists around the world. Many of the courses are performed on Human Cadavers to simulate real life scenarios and provide the practitioner with the best possible training. The different courses offer tremendous opportunities for both general dentists and specialists at all levels from the surgical phase to the restorative phase. The goal of the academy is to allow participants to gain the highest level of competence, increase their expertise and confidence and perform the procedures soon after certification.
Dr. Eli Raviv
Dr. Eli Raviv obtained his dental degree from Tel-Aviv University (DMD, 1981) and his certificate in Prosthodontics from Hebrew University (1990) in Israel. Dr. Eli Raviv is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University, Montreal, Director of Prosthodontics and Associate Director of the Department of Dentistry at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis – Jewish Hospital, Montreal. He has received several awards: the Julius Michman Prize, London, England. The first prize for best presentation by the American Academy of Osseointregration, ODQ, Montreal and others. He is a member of the editorial review board of Quintessence International Journal. For the past 28 years, Dr. Raviv has been involved in teaching and research of implant dentistry. His work has been published in local and international peer reviewed journals
Dr Milli Harel Raviv
Dr Milli Harel Raviv obtained her dental degree (DMD, 1981) and her certificate in Oral Medecine (1984) from the University of Tel-Aviv. She is a former professor and head of department at the McGill Univeristy – faculty of Dentistry. She has been involved in research for more than 20 years and published more than 40 articles in peer reviewed journals. She is the author of the book “Nicole Goes to Dr. Milli The Dentist” – a children story based on a technique to lower dental phobia and anxiety in young children. Presently Dr Mili Harel Raviv is not providing dental services to the public. She is invested full time in implant research and coordinating continuing education courses with a focus on the teaching of dental implant surgery and rehabilitation.
Dr Roy Raviv
Dr Roy Raviv obtained his Law degree (LLB) from East London University (London England) and his International Business degree (BBA) from St Thomas University (Miami, Fl). He subsequently completed his Dentistry degree (DMD) from McGill University (Montreal, Canada). He went on to complete a comprehensive multidisciplinary residency program at the Jewish General Hospital – a McGill affiliated Hospital with a world renowned program (Montreal, Canada). He is presently an Assistant Professor at McGill University (Department of Restorative Dentistry and prosthodontics) and also consults the Montreal Cardiology Institute on dental matters. Dr Raviv is a Dental Surgeon who has been involved in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry for the past 10 years as well as taken part in research projects and dental articles.
